Call of the Wildman is an American reality television series that airs on the Animal Planet network. The third season of the series is currently airing. The show follows the exploits of Kentucky woodsman Ernie Brown, Jr., nicknamed “The Turtleman”. Aided by his friend, Neal James, and his dog, Lolly, Brown operates a nuisance animal removal business, catching the animals without harming them and releasing them back into the wild. The series is primarily filmed near Brown’s Lebanon, Kentucky, home.

Brown began catching snapping turtles from ponds near his home at the age of 7. He came to the attention of Animal Planet producers in part after an episode of Kentucky Educational Television’s Kentucky Afield series that featured his bare-handed turtle-catching techniques was posted on YouTube and went viral. After personally visiting Brown and doing some initial filming, network executives decided to produce a 12-episode season of the series with the working title The Turtleman of Wild Kentucky. The title was soon changed to Call of the Wildman, a reference to Brown’s distinctive yell that punctuates his actions throughout the series. The series was Animal Planet’s most watched program in the fourth quarter of 2011 and was renewed for a second, 16-episode series that began airing in June 2012. On October 2012, Animal Planet has re-released the series with bonus features and trivia information known as Call of the Wildman: More Live Action.

Celebrity Big Brother is a British reality television game show in which a number of celebrity contestants live in an isolated house trying to avoid being evicted by the public with the aim of winning a large cash prize being donated to the winner’s nominated charity at the end of the run. Snooki & Jwoww, sometimes rendered Snooki & JWoww or Snooki & JWOWW in print and online sources, is an American reality television series on MTV starring Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Jennifer “JWoww” Farley. It is the first of two spin-offs of Jersey Shore, on which both Polizzi and Farley previously gained fame as cast members. The series, which is executive produced by Jersey Shore producer SallyAnn Salsano of 495 Productions, is described by its stars as a modern-day Laverne & Shirley. The first season focuses on Polizzi and Farley living together in a former firehouse in Jersey City, New Jersey, though Polizzi’s pregnancy, which was confirmed during filming of the first season, led to a change in episode content and tone that would distance it from the party-oriented antics of its parent show. Filming began on the first season February 25, 2012, and lasted five weeks. The series premiered June 21, 2012. A second season was confirmed on August 3, 2012, and premiered on January 8, 2013. On April 25, 2013 MTV renewed the series for a third season, which will premiere on October 22, 2013.

The show features 16 contestants, split into two teams of eight, competing in various types of shooting challenges. One by one, the contestants are eliminated until only one remains. That contestant receives a $100,000 grand prize and the title of “Top Shot.” Survivor contestant Colby Donaldson is the host.
