Tre kronor was a Swedish soap opera that aired on TV4 during the period 1994-1999. The series took place in the fictive middle class suburb Mälarviken, located in the vicinity of Stockholm. The exteriors were filmed in Sätra, a suburb of Stockholm, and the interiors were filmed in a studio in Kvarnholmen as well as in Kungens Kurva. Tre kronor aired at the same time period as Rederiet was on SVT and the shows where rivals of the viewers and they both had around 1-2 million viewers. TV4 started Tre kronor in 1994 to compete for the viewers of Rederiet.

The spin-off movie Reine och Mimmi i fjällen! was based on two of the characters; Reine and Mimmi.

Later in the series, Salongo buys another restaurant and he to disappeares from the series.

Skärgårdsdoktorn was a Swedish television series produced by SVT Drama. The series ran from 1997 to 2000 and a total of 18 episodes were produced. In English, the title could be translated as The archipelago doctor, and it came to be one of the most popular Swedish TV series of the 90s, and with its average viewership of approximately 2.5 million it is considered one of the greatest successes of SVT Drama. La Linea is an Italian animated series created by the Italian cartoonist Osvaldo Cavandoli. The series consists of 90 episodes, each about 2–3 minutes long, which were originally broadcast on the Italian channel RAI between 1971 and 1986. Over the years the series aired in more than 40 countries around the world. All episodes of the series are available today on DVD.

Due to its short duration, it has often been used in many networks as an interstitial program.
