The Yard is a Canadian mockumentary comedy series that originally aired on HBO Canada in 2011. Set in a schoolyard, the series depicts the interactions of two rival gangs of elementary school students, with the plot of each episode serving as a parody of an adult-oriented crime drama series such as The Sopranos or The Wire. In the United States it is available for online streaming exclusively on Hulu in both “censored” and “uncensored” versions and for 1080p HD digital download on the iTunes Store.

Loonatics Unleashed is an American animated television series produced by Warner Bros. Animation that ran on the Kids’ WB for two seasons from 2005 to 2007 in the United States, Teletoon in Canada, Kids Central in Singapore, Cartoon Network’s Boomerang in Australia, Cartoon Network in the UK, Southeast Asia and Latin America, and XHGC in Mexico. It is still broadcasting on Clan TVE.

The series was loosely based on the Looney Tunes cartoon characters, with the series described by Warner Bros. as an “action-comedy.” Loonatics Unleashed is meant to be a mixture of the Looney Tunes shorts’ irreverent style of humor and a modern action animated series, with the characters designed in an anime inspired style.

The program is generally aired on Fox, The CW and MyNetworkTV affiliates, though a majority of the stations that carry the series are Fox affiliates. It is essentially a television version of its sister operation, TMZ.com, a news website with a heavy emphasis on gossip of celebrities’ personal lives, which debuted in December 2005.

Pair of Kings is an American television sitcom shown on the cable channel Disney XD. The sitcom’s target audience are teenagers. The series began production on February 15, 2010, with stars Mitchel Musso and Doc Shaw departing fellow Disney series Hannah Montana and The Suite Life on Deck respectively, and premiered on September 10, 2010 on the Disney Channel. The show is filmed before a live studio audience. On November 20, 2010, Disney XD announced that Pair of Kings had been renewed for a second season, which premiered on June 13, 2011. In December 2011, the series was renewed for a third season, however Disney announced that Musso would be replaced with actor Adam Hicks who has worked with Disney on previous projects such as Zeke and Luther. The third season premiered on June 18, 2012. However, it was announced on Adam Hicks’ Twitter page that Disney XD would not renew Pair of Kings for a fourth season.

Big Bad Beetleborgs is an American television series produced by Saban Entertainment. It aired for two seasons (the second season being named ‘Beetleborgs Metallix’) on Fox Kids between September 7, 1996 and March 2, 1998. Reruns later aired on UPN Kids from 1998 to 1999. On May 7, 2010, as part of the sale of the Power Rangers franchise, the copyright for Beetleborgs was transferred from BVS International to SCG Power Rangers.

Jonas, previously promoted as “J.O.N.A.S.”, is a Disney Channel Original Series created by Roger S. H. Schulman and Michael Curtis, starring the Jonas Brothers.

The brothers appear as the “Lucas Brothers”, the three members of the fictional band “JONAS” who try to live a normal life in the face of stardom. The pilot was filmed in 2007 but because of the 2007–2008 Writers Guild of America strike, the series was put on hold. The original shooting date had been set in January 2008, but was pushed back to September 2008.The series premiered on Disney Channel on May 2, 2009, and became available on demand starting April 25, 2009.

JONAS is the first Disney Channel Original Series (DCOS) since Phil of the Future not to be filmed before a live studio audience or to have a laugh track. The series was the first on the network premiere on a Saturday night, part of a deliberate strategy by Disney to open up the night to original programming and compete with Nickelodeon’s traditional dominance of the evening. Shōyō Hinata began playing volleyball after seeing the “small giants” who played the sport when he was in elementary school. He suffers a crushing defeat in his first and last tournament in middle school at the hands of his rival Tobio Kageyama. So, Hinata joins Kurasuno High School’s volleyball team, vowing revenge against Kageyama. However, Kageyama is also on Kurasuno’s team. The former rivals form a legendary combo with Hinata’s mobility and Kageyama’s precision ball-handling. Together, they take on the local tournaments and vow to meet Kurasuno’s fated rival school in the nationals.
