Mongrels, formerly known under the working titles of We Are Mongrels and The Un-Natural World, is a British puppet-based situation comedy series first broadcast on BBC Three between 22 June and 10 August 2010, with a making-of documentary entitled “Mongrels Uncovered” broadcast on 11 August 2010. A second series of Mongrels began airing on 7 November 2011.
The series revolves around the lives of five anthropomorphic animals who hang around the back of a pub in Millwall, the Isle of Dogs, London. The characters are Nelson, a metrosexual fox; Destiny, an Afghan hound; Marion, a “borderline-retarded” cat; Kali, a grudge-bearing pigeon; and Vince, Nelson’s friend, a sociopathic foul-mouthed fox.
The show is aimed at an adult audience, features “neutering, incontinence, cannibalism and catnip overdoses” and humour styles such as slapstick and farce. For example, the first episode begins with a scene in which Marion, portrayed as desperately trying to revive his deceased owner, learns she has actually been dead for four months, whereupon he casually gives his cat friends permission to eat her. Mongrels has attracted accusations of plagiarism, with claims that Mongrels stole ideas from a similar Channel 4 show called Pets.

The Lion King’s Timon & Pumbaa, often simply referred to as Timon & Pumbaa, is an animated comedy television series made by the Walt Disney Company. It centers on Timon the meerkat and Pumbaa the warthog from the Disney film franchise The Lion King, without most of the other characters in the franchise. Cow and Chicken is an American animated comedy television series created by David Feiss for Cartoon Network. The series follows the surreal adventures of a cow, named Cow, and her chicken brother, named Chicken. They are often antagonized by “The Red Guy”, who poses as various characters to scam them. Late into the series run, the characters I.M. Weasel and I.R. Baboon, who were part of the series’ recurring segment, I Am Weasel, were given their own half-hour series of the same name.

Reruns are played on Boomerang, which are rated TV-Y7. The series was nominated for an Emmy Award in 1996 and 1998.
As of March 30, 2012, this series has returned to Cartoon Network in re-runs on the revived block, Cartoon Planet.

Moonlighting is an American television series that aired on ABC from March 3, 1985, to May 14, 1989. The network aired a total of 66 episodes. Starring Bruce Willis and Cybill Shepherd as private detectives, the show was a mixture of drama, comedy, and romance, and was considered to be one of the first successful and influential examples of comedy-drama, or “dramedy”, emerging as a distinct television genre.
The show’s theme song was performed by jazz singer Al Jarreau and became a hit. The show is also credited with making Willis a star, while providing Shepherd with a critical success after a string of lackluster projects. In 1997, the episode “The Dream Sequence Always Rings Twice” was ranked #34 on TV Guide’s 100 Greatest Episodes of All Time. In 2007, the series was listed as one of Time magazine’s “100 Best TV Shows of All-Time.” The relationship between David and Maddie was included in TV Guide’s list of the best TV couples of all time.
Ok Da-Jung is the youngest team leader in the cosmetics industry. She has divorced three times so far. She doesn’t care what others think about her and she also has quite a temper. The young and idealistic priest Albin returns to Sweden from Kenya to work in a church in the small village Östra Nöbberup. Albin want to renew the work of the parish and tries to attract visitors to church with controversial methods. This is not appreciated by the other members of the parish, especially not by the curate Jan Samuelsson who wants Albins job as a priest.
