Green Lantern: The Animated Series is an American computer-animated television series based on the DC Comics superhero Green Lantern. The series is currently airing on Cartoon Network, as part of their “DC Nation” television block. A one hour sneak peek aired on November 11, 2011 it ran from November 11, 2011 to March 16, 2013, with a new episode airing every week. A special screening of the first episode was shown at New York Comic Con 2011 on October 15, 2011. This is the first Green Lantern television series and the first CGI DC/WB series. The series was cancelled after one season due to poor toy sales from the live-action movie, and because Cartoon Network wanted to emphasize new shows in its “DC Nation” block.

Both volumes were later released on home video edited as feature length films. It was ranked 21 on IGN’s Top 100 Animated Series list. Entertainment Weekly ranked the series 20th out of 25 of the best science-fiction films or television of the past 25 years.
Galactik Football is a french animated television series, co-produced by Alphanim, France 2, Jetix Europe, and Welkin-Animation. Its third 26-episode season aired in Europe in June 2010.

Gunsmoke is an American radio and television Western drama series created by director Norman MacDonnell and writer John Meston. At the end of its run in 1975, Los Angeles Times columnist Cecil Smith wrote “Gunsmoke was the dramatization of the American epic legend of the west. Our own Iliad and Odyssey, created from standard elements of the dime novel and the pulp western as romanticized by Buntline, Harte, and Twain. It was ever the stuff of legend.”

Season 3 debuted on September 21, 2010, at 9 pm ET, on CBC Television. In the United States, Season 3 began aired on Soapnet starting January 26, 2011.
The show’s fourth and final season aired in fall 2011. Although the show was never officially cancelled by the CBC, Sinyor told TV Guide during the fourth and final season run that the series had reached a natural conclusion and she had no plans to write or produce a fifth season.
