Earth: Final Conflict is a Canadian science fiction television series based on story ideas created by Gene Roddenberry, and produced under the guidance of his widow, Majel Barrett-Roddenberry. It was not produced, filmed or broadcast until after his death. It ran for five seasons between October 6, 1997, and May 20, 2002.
The original title for the show was Battleground: Earth, but the producers changed it because it sounded too much like L. Ron Hubbard’s novel, Battlefield Earth. The executive producer was Majel Barrett-Roddenberry. She also appeared in some early episodes as the character Dr Julianne Belman. Barrett was in possession of notes Roddenberry kept of story and series ideas; after his death, these notes provided the basis for this series.

Yu-Gi-Oh! is a 1998 Japanese anime television series produced by Toei Animation and Bandai based on chapters 1-59 of the manga of the same name written by Kazuki Takahashi. The series aired on TV Asahi between April 4, 1998, and October 10, 1998. An animated film based on the series was released in Japanese theatres on March 6, 1999. The opening theme is “A Cry of Thirst” by Field of View whilst the ending theme is “Even If You Break Tomorrow” by Wands. The series was followed by a different adaptation produced by Nihon Ad Systems and Konami, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters, which began airing in 2000. Fans outside of Japan have dubbed this series as “Yu-Gi-Oh! Season Zero.”
King Arthur’s Disasters is a British animated series which first aired on CITV, a now defunct programming block on ITV1. The series was Co-Created by Paul Parkes and Will Ashurst, the series follows and depicts attempts by King Arthur, assisted by the wizard Merlin, to woo the beautiful self-obsessed Princess Guinevere. Due to the popularity of the show, it was picked up for a second series which began transmission on CITV from 6 November 2005. Both were Executive Produced by Genevieve Dexter
King Arthur’s Disasters was the highest rated new CITV show during Spring 2005. It regularly achieved an audience share of over 20% of kids and it regularly won its time slot against CBBC. In 2006 the show was nominated for a children’s BAFTA for Best Animation, however lost to The Amazing Adrenalini Brothers.
