After a family tragedy in the chaotic city, Chris and Maggie Conley, in a last-ditch effort to save their dying marriage, purchase an isolated home in the deepest woods, to which they quickly discover evil has a key.

Set in post hurricane New Orleans. A brutal Mexican drug lord (Armando LeDuc) busts out of jail to retrieve the $15 million that his girlfriend is hiding. But detective Raymond (Kris Kristofferson) and McCoy (Sheldon Robbins) will try their best to put him back to where he belongs.

A year after the mysterious disappearance of an 8 year-old girl, we meet her grieving family as they return home from her memorial service in their small town. Later that evening, strange lights appear in the nearby forest and the family is exposed to an inexplicably strange phenomenon that rattles them to the core. The origin of the lights appear to be visitors from another world that seemingly terrorize the family. What they don’t realize is that these ‘beings’ will lead the family to the truth behind the little girl’s disturbing disappearance.

The film weaves between joy and pain as these individuals band together to demand hope in a place so often deemed hopeless.
