A keen observation of a sun-dappled and still-watered swamp, Uncertain contemplates a frequently overlooked and enigmatic town whose lake, and only real source of income, comes under threat from an aquatic nuisance of the botanical variety. Perhaps unsurprisingly for a site so-named, there is a lack of consensus about the Texas town’s origin: whether the result of a surveyor’s confusion when marking an early map, or steamboat captains’ belief that docking there was an unknowable, impossible task, an auspicious beginning is offered for the unsettled and yearning inhabitants.

Government special agents are sent to the hills of Arkansas to investigate an alien abduction. The agents meet and “team-up” with some back woods hillbillies to infiltrate the alien’s mother ship. Once aboard the spacecraft, hillbillies and government agents alike must fight for their lives and escape their alien foes!

Just by watching Lupe stuck at home in her robe and slippers, no one would will guess that in the 80’s she was a rock star. Gone are the times of concerts, fame and success. Agoraphobia does not let her leave home. She depends entirely on Paquita, his mother, a superstitious Mexican, with a huge heart, which not only takes care of his daughter but also her teenage grandson.
