Digimon Adventure 02, commonly referred to as Digimon Zero Two and known as the second season of Digimon: Digital Monsters outside of Japan, is a children’s television anime series produced by Toei Animation. It is the second series in the Digimon franchise, which takes place three years following the events of the previous season, Digimon Adventure. The series aired in Japan between April 2, 2000, and March 25, 2001. An English language dub produced by Saban Entertainment aired in North America between August 19, 2000, and May 19, 2001. It was succeeded by Digimon Tamers, which takes place in its own timeline.

It’s the last day of school and 14 year-old Grace (aka “Twinkle Toes”) has been dreaming of the ultimate summer vacation with her best friends, Sporty Shorty and Jordan. But when Twinkle Toes’ Dad gets a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to direct a Broadway musical, Twinkle Toes is swept from her small-pond suburban life and thrown in the hustle and bustle of New York City for the summer. As Twinkle Toes learns the ins-and-outs of the Big Apple and Broadway, she impresses the show’s choreographer and is invited to be a part of the show’s cast alongside the teenage starlet, Olivia Conners. But when Twinkle Toes gets a taste of the Broadway limelight, the chance for stardom overwhelms Twinkle Toes and the show is ruined! To make things right, Twinkle Toes must use all her creativity, smarts, and dancing skills to help her new friends and save the show!

In this story, we meet fantastic creatures that gather all these little objects that fall into oblivion as they are forgotten by their owners when they step into adulthood. These creatures sneak into our world from a different dimension, and unseen by humans, they take all the ditched and forgotten “treasures” into their world. Here, they use their booty to build their own city, a fairy tale-like place called… Oblivion Island!
