Doug is an American animated sitcom created by Jim Jinkins and co-produced by his studio, Jumbo Pictures. The show’s plotline centers around the surreal and imaginative exploits of its title character, Douglas “Doug” Funnie, who experiences common predicaments while attending school in his new hometown of Bluffington, Virginia. The series lampoons several topics, including puppy love, bullying, and rumors. Numerous episodes center around Doug’s attempts to date his classmate Patti Mayonnaise.
Doug originally aired on Nickelodeon in the United States of America. It, along with Rugrats and The Ren & Stimpy Show, comprised the original three Nicktoons, premiering simultaneously on August 11, 1991 and ending on January 2, 1994. Following the acquisition of the former Jumbo Pictures by Disney in 1996, the series aired on ABC as part of the former Disney’s One Saturday Morning programming block. The second series premiered on September 7, 1996, and ended on June 26, 1999 while having a feature film adaption. In 2011, the Nickelodeon series became syndicated on TeenNick’s then newly debuted The ’90s Are All That block.

CatDog is an American animated television series created for Nickelodeon by Peter Hannan. The series depicts the life of conjoined brothers, with one half being a cat and the other a dog. Nickelodeon produced the series from Burbank, California. The first episode aired on April 4, 1998, before the show officially premiered in October. The episode “Fetch” was also shown in theaters with The Rugrats Movie.
Toward the end of the series run, a made-for-TV film was released, titled CatDog: The Great Parent Mystery. When Leela is insulted by a group of space-rednecks (like regular rednecks, but in space) she enters the Planet Express ship in a demolition derby. She emerges victorious, but when she brings the damaged ship home and the Professor sees the fuel gauge, he’s enraged by the hit he’s going to take at the Dark Matter pump. Now the crew have to find a way to break Mom’s stranglehold on starship fuel, even if they have to wade through a Lord of the Rings-inspired fantasy-land to do it!
After being evicted from their old house by Tom’s owner for causing major damage, cat and mouse Tom and Jerry enter a race entitled the “Fabulous Super Race” to win a mansion.
Fresh off ripping space-time a new one at the end of “Bender’s Big Score,” the Planet Express crew is back to mend the tear in reality, or (hopefully) at least not make it worse. Beyond the tear, though, lurks a being of inconceivable…tentacularity. What will become of Earth, and indeed, our universe, when faced with the Beast with a Billion Backs?
