The first series premiered on the Nine Network on 15 April 2012 featuring Delta Goodrem, Joel Madden, Seal and Keith Urban as the coaches. Karise Eden was the show’s first season’s winner, defeating Darren Percival, Rachael Leahcar and Sarah De Bono in the live-to-air finale broadcast on 18 June 2012. Urban was replaced by Ricky Martin for the show’s second series after joining the American Idol judging panel. The series is hosted by Darren McMullen with Faustina Agolley as the social media correspondent.

Total Drama Island is a Canadian animated television series which premiered in Canada on Teletoon on July 8, 2007 and on June 5, 2008 in the U.S. on Cartoon Network. This is the first season of the Total Drama series and has 27 episodes, each 22 minutes in duration with a special 44 minute episode at the end. The season is mostly a parody of the series Survivor, which consists of twenty-two campers in an elimination-based competition. On the Cartoon Network airing in the United States, some content has been removed from the episodes by censors in order to keep the rating open to a younger audience; for example, putting in words instead of long bleeps, for the episodes “That’s Off the Chain” and “Trial by Tri-Armed Triathlon”. The fourth season, Total Drama: Revenge of the Island is also shown in the same location except with a new cast.

Jonas, previously promoted as “J.O.N.A.S.”, is a Disney Channel Original Series created by Roger S. H. Schulman and Michael Curtis, starring the Jonas Brothers.

The brothers appear as the “Lucas Brothers”, the three members of the fictional band “JONAS” who try to live a normal life in the face of stardom. The pilot was filmed in 2007 but because of the 2007–2008 Writers Guild of America strike, the series was put on hold. The original shooting date had been set in January 2008, but was pushed back to September 2008.The series premiered on Disney Channel on May 2, 2009, and became available on demand starting April 25, 2009.

JONAS is the first Disney Channel Original Series (DCOS) since Phil of the Future not to be filmed before a live studio audience or to have a laugh track. The series was the first on the network premiere on a Saturday night, part of a deliberate strategy by Disney to open up the night to original programming and compete with Nickelodeon’s traditional dominance of the evening. The series is set in New Jersey and shot at Hollywood Center Studios.
